Project Overview

The project involved upgrading and refreshing the reception space of the former Marathon House in Aberdeen, which has been transformed into a multi-tenanted office block. The client sought enhancements to the existing facilities, aiming to create a distinctive impact and set it apart from the neighboring office blocks.

Our approach

Space Solutions’ design scheme demonstrates a thoughtful and innovative approach, resulting in the creation of a remarkably inviting and flexible space that seamlessly caters to a diverse range of purposes, such as waiting, working, meet-and-greet, and informal meetings. This versatile design not only enhances the overall functionality of the area but also contributes to a positive and engaging environment.

Products Used

In our strategic approach to this project, we meticulously curated a selection of high-quality products to meet the specific requirements and elevate the overall aesthetic and functionality of the space. The two key products chosen and supplied were;

We aimed to not only meet the functional requirements of the space but also to create an environment that is aesthetically pleasing, sustainable, and aligned with the values of modern design and construction.

The Result

This project marked our initial encounter with biophilic design, seamlessly integrating our floor coverings with the moss wall covering. Beyond enhancing the reception area, we also upgraded the vestibules on either side of the building to bolster matting provisions, ensuring greater protection for the new flooring.

It has allowed us to showcasing our ability to seamlessly integrate diverse design elements, embrace cutting-edge concepts like biophilic design, and provide comprehensive solutions that transcend individual spaces. It not only stands as a testament to our commitment to pushing the boundaries of design but also underscores our unwavering dedication to delivering spaces that inspire, protect, and endure.
