Project Overview

Morrison Construction aimed to create a brand new facility for the local community, integrating various services such as a library and family resource centre under one roof.

The project focused on durability, aesthetics, sustainability and cost-effectiveness. The solution also had to complement the modern interior design, ensuring a cohesive and contemporary feel throughout the space.

Challanges

The client needed a fast-turnaround solution to meet a tight project deadline. Despite facing supply chain delays and on-site installation challenges, we successfully delivered a comprehensive flooring package.

The scope of works included the installation of a raised access floor, carpet tiles, vinyl, and an innovative magnetic-backed hardwood flooring system.

Solution

We delivered a tailored flooring solution designed to meet the client’s diverse requirements. The project incorporated a range of sustainable, high-performance materials — including raised access flooring, magnetic-backed hardwood, carpet tiles, vinyl, and barrier matting — all selected for their durability and eco-friendly credentials.

Spanning four months, the project was executed by specialist teams assigned to each flooring type, ensuring precision and efficiency at every stage. Close collaboration with the client throughout the process enabled us to navigate challenges effectively and deliver a seamless, high-quality installation.
